Excellent app all round! Easy to use, and accurate. Within one week of my arrival in London this app had me zipping around on the underground like a local. Highly recommend it and would even urge users to upgrade to the full version for what costs next to nothing given the use you'll get out of this app. Be aware that for the best experience you will need an internet connection but the app does have offline functionality too.
This app is one of the kind, where it has some amazing features and travelling hacks/shortcuts... so I paid for the full app experience back in 2017. Not just to stop the ads. I could clearly see the developers were putting in a lot of effort and it was well worth money as a Londoner to have access to such features back when TfL themselves had nothing to offer in terms of an app. Thank you Team
I have tried 4 Tube apps ... found this one to be the most useful. It works off-line just fine, although it won't have current status information in that case. It is easy to use, nice routing information, clear, simple. And did I mention it is free. I paid for the upgrades on a couple of the other apps ... not worth it at all. Try this one first!
Everyone I've met loves CityMapper but for the life of me I cannot understand why b/c it's confusing to follow. I tell everyone about this app because even without service/data it will give you an offline route so you have something to go off of if you lose signal in the tubes. 10/10 stars everytime for this app!
I needed to update this review. The added information on each station is outstanding. As a relatively new wheelchair user, being able to see this level of info about each platform, in 1 click has given me the confidence to use the tube again. Thank you and well done. 😊
I had a lovely one-month vacation in London. And I was able to get from one place to another without any hassles, thanks to the Tube Map app. Brownie points for its ability to function without the internet.
